Student volunteers are going to be one of the critical groups of volunteers assisting in the rebuilding efforts, and by cultivating a healthy spirit of service at a young age, Hands On Chengdu will seek to develop community leaders who understand the importance of giving back to the community--and will do so for the rest of their lives.
